Rayon is a semi-synthetic fiber made from reconstituted plant cellulose, such as wood pulp or bamboo. Rayon is the umbrella term for the different manufacturing methods and includes Viscose, Modal, Lyocell, and Bamboo. Rayon is often blended with natural fibers to create various weaves and knits.
Best machine washed on a gentle cycle, preferably in a garment bag. Never tumble dry as it can cause significant shrinkage and warping. To remove wrinkling use an iron on a low heat setting and with a pressing cloth or steamed to avoid scorching the fabric.
